She didn’t wear red, but Kerry Washington still honored her wine-loving alter ego with her Oscars dress.

“I am in sort of a champagne-y white, so I guess I was feeling a little bit of Olivia this evening,” Washington, 38, told self-professed gladiator Lara Spencer before the show.

Hey, Washington’s most fashionable fixer is also known to wear white — literally and metaphorically — so her cream, peplum Miu Miu gown definitely does the trick.

The
Scandal
star, who’s presenting Sunday night, also teased the ABC drama’s next episode, which looks like it involves a shooting that sends Liv, still suffering from PTSD after her kidnapping, into a downward spiral.

“The very next episode is an episode that means a great deal to me,” she explained. “It’s a very moving episode.”

“Not to be a downer on the red carpet!” she added, laughing.
