Oprah Shares the Cover of O With Michelle Obama

For the first time in its nine year existence, O, The Oprah Magazine will feature a cover model other than just Oprah Winfrey herself. For its April issue, the talk-show host will share the spotlight with First Lady Michelle Obama, who sits down in her new home — the White House — and gets candid with the media mogul. In the issue, which will hit newsstands on March 17, Michelle talks frankly about decorating the White House, keeping up with friends, her daughters and more. We applaud Michelle’s consistency in wearing American designers– even on magazine covers. The First Lady wore a Tracy Reese dress on the cover of PEOPLE just last week! And for her Oprah cover, she appears clad in an orange Michael Kors sheath and Dream Cashmere cardigan. And she isn’t stopping with fashion. Michelle tells Oprah she will look to American artists when decorating the White House. “I want art that reflects contemporary and traditional, I want to bring in new American artisans,” she says.
