Ever since Miley Cyrus released her new album, Younger Now, her style has completely transformed compared to her “Wrecking Ball” days. Instead of favoring lip-covered bodysuits and colorful armpit hair, she’s gone back to her country roots with a more refined wardrobe (which you can see here). But sometimes, she can’t help “just being Miley” by wearing a very creative pair of one-of-a-kind heels — and sticking her tongue out.

At a press conference for The Voice on Monday, Cyrus wore a custom Cristahlea sequin gown featuring a single sleeve, sequin flowers and a thigh-high slit that showed off her clear platform heels covered purple jewels.

“They’re from a stripper store,” she revealed during the conference. “They’re only $7. They can be yours for the low price of seven bucks and a broken ankle.”

And she warned that going for a bargain means you’ll need to add a little elbow grease to make them your own. “But you’ll have to add the stick on jewels, that was the customization,” she said. “[Adam Levine] has to carry me tonight because I can’t walk in these.”

And Levine is not too excited about that responsibility: “It’s not as easy as it looks.”

“I can only slide,” Cyrus said. “Walking isn’t great.”

Surprisingly, she isn’t the first celebrity to admit to buying “stripper” heels. Helen Mirren really loves her platform pair and told Jay Leno in 2010 that they were her “secret weapon” and has been wearing her favorite find for years.

“They were stripper shoes I used to buy on Hollywood Boulevard,” she said. “Thirty-nine dollars, they cost me … They give you like, an immediate seven inches.”

With a little more practice, Cyrus can be a stripper heel-wearing pro just like Mirren in no time.
