Some girls wear their hearts on their sleeves. Miley Cyrus, on the other hand, prefers to incorporate all the things she loves into a sleeve of tattoos. The pop star’s arms are littered with little images and phrases all over that pay homage to the people, animals and objects in her life she holds nearest and dearest, such as a tribute to her deceased dog Floyd, her nickname for her assistant Cheyne “BIEWTY” Thomas, and a colorful little avocado. And now there’s a new favorite thing that just landed on that elite body art list — Miley has made her obsession with the Australian spread Vegemite permanent ink official.

Who knew the “Party in the U.S.A.” singer had such a penchant for Australian cuisine? Perhaps it was her on-again former fiancé Liam Hemsworth who turned her on to the wonders of the vegan-friendly food, which also happens to be one of his favorites. Miley’s longtime tattoo artist Dr. Woo posted a selfie of the singer with her new body art, a tiny jar of the brown spread positioned just below the avocado on the back of her arm, captioned, “@mileycyrus don’t play when it comes to #vegemite ? #halfneedle”

While most people get skittish when it comes to making a permanent artistic addition to their bodies, Miley tends to treat her collection of tiny tattoos as more of a memorabilia scrapbook, adding on anything and everything that’s meaningful to her in the moment. So whether she ends up living happily ever after with this Australian spread or she and Vegemite wind up going their separate ways, we’re sure this is a tattoo she’ll only look back on with fond memories.
