See the singer's crazy extravagant look (as if you expected her to arrive in anything else!)

Arriving fashionably late (per usual) to the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala, resident red-carpet stunner Rihanna brought down the house in an extravagant bright-yellow creation by Chinese couture designer Guo Pei.

If you’re thinking: “Wow, that looks like a lot of dress.” It is. And it’s a lot of a train-slash-cape, to be exact. It took three people to help her up the steps!

She teamed the cape (which she held on to for dear life, perhaps because there wasn’t much underneath?) with a pair of silver strappy heels, a sparkly statement necklace and a bedazzled gold headpiece, which sat atop her freshly dyed red locks. (We knew she’d find a fun way to style her new do!)

Props to RiRi for doing it over-the-top once again — and for showcasing a design that embodies the night’s theme.
