It’s easy to overlook the guys on a night like the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala, with all the glamorous gowns and glittery jewelry adorning the ladies of the evening. While most men opt for a plain black tux, some of them let their fashion flags fly in the form of printed blazers or colored suits. What’s even more exciting? It looks like these dudes even went with the theme, China: Through the Looking Glass, which is more than we can say for some of the women on the carpet.

So without further ado, let’s salute the night’s standout dudes:

First up, Michael B. Jordan: The Fruitvale Station star looks as dapper as ever in a textured, flower-printed black Dolce & Gabbana Alla Sartoria suit and Forevermark earrings. (His stylist documented the process in a Flipagram.) This outfit alone should earn him a standing Met Gala invitation for the next five years, don’t you think?

Next, Justin Bieber: Love him or hate him, you have to admit Bieber is killing it in that gold embellished Balmain blazer. Let’s hope Balmain’s Olivier Rousteing keeps Bieber in his pocket and dresses him again.

Miguel: The suave crooner opted for a red Michael Kors suit with a black collared shirt, and even though he matches the carpet, this look suits him. He looks like a smoldering bullfighter.

Adrien Brody: His purple and silver Dolce & Gabbana Alla Sartoria blazer is a bit sparklier than we usually get to see on a man, but if anyone can pull this look off, it’s an artsy fella like Brody. And judging from his goofy-smug smile in most of the photos from tonight, he knows it.

Who gets your vote for best dressed man of the evening?
