Fact: No Met Gala red carpet will ever be complete without an appearance from fashion mogul sisters Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen. And Monday night, the duo fulfilled their sartorial duties of showing up looking flawless, theme or no theme.

Okay, so the fashion designer sisters aren’t necessarily committed to sticking to the theme of the evening — in this case, technology — but that doesn’t mean they don’t stun in whatever it is they oh-so-perfectly put together. Ashley followed the metallic-toned trend in her own way, wearing a beige floor-length dress layered with a gold-colored velvet bell-sleeved jacket on top. The star kept her beauty look simple with a loose middle-parted low bun by hairstylist Mark Townsend and classic nude makeup by makeup artist Ana Marie.

As for the other half of the iconic duo, Mary-Kate unsurprisingly stuck to her go-to color scheme, opting for a plain black long-sleeved gown and strappy sandals, which she paired with a textured side-parted style, also by Townsend, and nude makeup similar to her sister’s.

But the most memorable Olsen sister moment of the night? Their time spent in Vogue‘s Instagram photobooth (after all, they’re practically pros now). Most stars took that opportunity to get their dance party on. The Olsens spent it, well, just watch for yourself.
