Margot Robbie Gets a Super-Seductive New Gig (and More Celeb Ad Campaigns You Can't Miss)
Plus, check out more editorials from high-fashion brands' fall 2016 campaigns
It was only a matter of time before a high-fashion house called dibs on Margot Robbie for a gorgeous ad campaign — and Calvin Klein ended up being the lucky brand to nab the Legend of Tarzan actress. See Robbie’s fresh, sexy ad, Amanda Seyfried’s first-ever partnership with Miu Miu and the seven famous faces fronting Jimmy Choo’s 20th anniversary campaign.
Robbie filmed a print and TV campaign for Deep Euphoria Calvin Klein fragrance; the print ad features her posing seductively on a plush, velvet chaise, while the TV spot is set to follow her character “as she remembers a series of flashbacks from the night before that blur the lines between fantasy and reality, ultimately revealing her deepest desires,” according to the press release.
“I’m thrilled to be the face” of the scent, Robbie said in a statement. “This is my first advertising campaign and I am honored it is with Calvin Klein, an iconic brand I have known and loved for so many years.”

Next up: Seyfried! She also marks a new actress-and-fashion-house collab with her first partnership with Miu Miu. Prada’s little sister line is known for tapping younger stars (Elle Fanning, Hailee Steinfeld) but for its Fall 2016 campaign, it paired the established actress with models Anna Ewers and Victoria’s Secret Angel Taylor Hill. As the brand puts it on Instagram, “Amanda Seyfried leads an enigmatic cast of characters through a weekend of playful reverie.”
The shoot was set at historic Norfolk estate Houghton Hall, which perfectly displays the brand’s vision: “The new Miu Miu girl reinterprets the sartorial rules of the past. Tweed, argyle sweaters, oversized frilled collars and pearl slippers that speak of heritage, faith, craftsmanship, uniform and purpose are irreverently re-mixed for play and pleasure — a weekend of laughter and games.”
Jimmy Choo is assembling quite the high-fashion squad to help celebrate its 20th anniversary. Seven models including Amber Valletta, Milla Jovovich, Sasha Pivovarova, Taylor Hill, Lexi Boling, Jasmine Tookes and Xiao Wen Ju were tapped to each represent the essence of the Jimmy Choo woman modeling the Fall 2016 collection.
“The Autumn Winter campaign is a reflection of the characters who embody the Jimmy Choo brand values both during the past 20 years and into the future,” the brand’s creative director Sandra Choi said in a statement. “It is a modern vision for our woman and signals a bold new chapter.”
And finally, Dior just revealed its Fall 2016 campaign starring model Julia Nobis who “embodies the active and expressive woman of today,” the brand wrote on Instagram.
Her athleticism comes through with the dynamic shots of the campaign and slow-mo movie accompanying it.
