Now that you’re done staring at Miley Cyrus’s postage stamp-size mini dress, it’s time to talk about some other moments from Sunday’s MTV’s Europe Music Awards. Luckily, our Celeb Style Council member Louise Roe (who covered the red carpet and backstage at the show in Amsterdam) has some scoop.

First, let’s take five to discuss Roe’s look: a tribal printed Mara Hoffman top and skirt, Jimmy Choo heels, a Lia Sophia ring and Freedom at Topshop earrings. If you had any doubt Roe is a master at high-low dressing, you don’t anymore.

“I guess you could say I had an orange theme,” the style star tells PEOPLE. As for her beauty look: “I wanted my hair beachy and messy, so we added Tresemmé dry shampoo as I flipped upside down, to add volume. My makeup was bronzed and dewy, with a smudged brown smokey eye, all MAC products: “Coffee”pencil, “Sketch” eyeshadow, No. 36 lashes and highlighter just by my tear duct.”

But the true highlight of the night: Getting to goof around backstage with Will Ferrell in character as Ron Burgundy. She even got to wear his iconic mustache and make music with him!

Said Roe in an email: “Some of my highlights were playing jazz flute with Ron Burgundy, Katy Perry grabbing my hair to cut some off (it’s her weird penchant, carrying locks of people’s hair around!) getting a hug from Miley Cyrus, who is super cool, no matter what people say, and getting Afrojack to teach me the Dutch word for ‘twerking.’ It’s Tverking, FYI. Totes original.”
