Julianne Moore. Naomi Watts. Blake Lively. These are just a few of the A-listers who have served as the gorgeous faces of L’Oréal Paris. But now, the cosmetics giant is enlisting a new kind of talent to front its campaigns: bloggers. And the first lucky lady to join the L’Oréal family? Kristina Bazan, of Kayture.

The 21-year-old style blogger has been tapped as the newest brand ambassador of L’Oréal Paris, which makes her the first member of the blogosphere to join the cosmetics company as an e-spokeswoman.

“I feel truly blessed and honored to be become the first e-spoke and join the unbelievable L’Oréal Paris family,” Bazan said in a statement. “It will enable me to keep striving to empower women and men, and hopefully inspire people to always believe and fight for their dreams, no matter what. We can all become a better version of ourselves if we keep pushing each other further, if we always remind ourselves that nothing is impossible.”

She added: “My wish is to use this new voice, this new amazing role as a spokesperson to spread a positive message about beauty and make all women around the world feel and know that they are all worth it.”

It was because of Bazan’s wide success with Kayture and her 2 million Instagram followers that the masterminds at L’Oréal sought her out to join its once celebrity-only family.

“She is a bridge between classical advertising and the consumer,” Yann Joffredo, vice president of global cosmetics at L’Oréal Paris, told
. “Kristina is totally in line with all the values of the brand.”

In her new role, Bazan will work with the brand to create exclusive digital content, as well as “share a positive message about beauty and encourage everyone to trust in their self worth.”

“Kristina embodies perfectly L’Oréal Paris connected woman,” Cyril Chapuy, brand global president, said in a statement. “As a real makeup addict, she shows us that any woman can create bold and sophisticated makeup looks, and feel good about herself. She designs her own beauty and has this incredible ability to openly share and inspire women all around the world.
