Little Big Town's Road to the 2013 Grammys
Literally! Ahead of the Feb. 10 Grammy Awards, nominated country quartet Little Big Town share some exclusive Priceless L.A. moments with PEOPLE, courtesy of MasterCard, on Thursday as they prep for music’s biggest night. “Sneak peek of what might be coming later today on the red carpet,” the band says of a picture of singer Kimberly Schlapman. “We love our stylist, Karla Welch!”
STEP IT UP
Whether or not Little Big Town’s a “shoe”-in to win the Grammy for best country duo/group performance, we know they’re putting their best foot forward. “Every girls’ dream!” the singers say of a peek into a well-stocked wardrobe. “Pick your pleasure!”
No tour bus, no problem, bandmate Phillip Sweet learns. “Riding in style in the Tommy Hilfiger wagoner,” the group says. “Perfect way to end the fittings.”
SOUND OF MUSIC
The Nashville band showed off why they earned that Grammy nomination with a Thursday night concert. “Soundcheck at The Wiltern,” they say of this pic. “Amazing way to kick off GRAMMY week!”
GIVE HER A HAND
SHOW & TELL
Who’s ready for an encore? “Thanks to our fans in L.A.!” the band says. “This could not have been a better night. So much love for you all.”
Sweet’s search for an award-worthy ensemble continues. “Looking for something good to wear,” he says of this pic.
Westbrook, too, takes time to perfect his red-carpet look. “Getting ready for a big night,” he says.
Practicing for the red carpet? Westbrook plays paparazzi as the band gets ready for their Grammys close-up.
COLOR ME HAPPY
Now that’s a good sign! “A Grammy good luck picture from my sweet baby girl,” Schlapman says of a cute (not to mention creative!) pick-me-up from 5-year-old daughter Daisy Pearl.
And the winner is … the band member who gets to keep this one for their scrapbook!
FOUR THE WIN!
It’s time to clear their shelves! Sweet, Schlapman, Fairchild and Westbrook end their Hollywood romp on a high note: a best country duo/group performance Grammy victory for their song “Pontoon.” Minutes before they hear their names, the singers put on their most winning smiles for one more group shot.
