Lily Collins Went Watermelon Red, Lea Michele Lightened Up and More Star Hair Changes

It's one of her boldest shade switch-ups to date!

The weather is heating up, and stars are responding accordingly with head-turning hair changes. Hottest of all? Lily Collins’s super-red new do — check it out, plus mane transformations from Lea Michele and Kiernan Shipka, below!

Collins, 27, is currently in South Korea filming her role as “Red” in Okja, and it looked like step one to getting into character was a total mane makeover.

“Fueling the fire within. Red hair don’t care #timeforachange #KrazyinKorea…,” Collins captioned the reveal selfie on Sunday.

After posting a bunch of angles over the weekend, she finally gave us a good glimpse at the whole new look by posing with a watermelon she jokes would match her hair:

While the star is a fan of changing up her style (remember when she debuted a pixie cut at the 2015 Oscars?), she doesn’t often mess with her color, so this shocking neon makeover definitely has us psyched.

Collins went for major drama, but not every star hair change was so jaw-dropping. Scream Queens star Michele stopped in to see her colorist Nikki Lee at Nine Zero One Salon for a highlight refresh, taking her strands from brunette to blonde-ish.

“Thank you so much @nikkilee901 and all my girls at @ninezeroone salon for my gorgeous new //sandy summer// locks! ? #Love,” Michele wrote on Instagram.

And lastly, Kiernan Shipka debuted a brand-new-to-her hairstyle while out and about with her pals over the weekend.

The 16-year-old actress sported a pair of super-long plaits, which we’re guessing is with the help of several inches of extensions, and showed off the new style on Instagram with the caption: “Artribe arrivals.”

This may be an entirely new do for Shipka, but like every other trend the stylish teen attempts, she seems to know just how to pull it off with ease.
