PEACHY KEEN
Laura's BlacKkKlansman tour kicked off in Cannes with a custom Louis Vuitton creation (just one of the perks of being a brand ambassador). "[Designer] Nicolas Ghesquière and his team created a custom gown for the premiere that Laura and I selected from a swatch of a shirt," says Danielle. "We said, 'We really like this peach color that's in the sleeve of look 20' and they brought it to life."

BETTER FROM THE BACK
Laura chose a slip dress by The Row for the amfAR Gala which was a "very full circle moment," says Danielle, who first met Laura while on-set at a shoot for The Row's designer Mary-Kate Olsen 10 years ago. Since the dress needed no alterations, Danielle let the Bulgari jewels shine. "At the last minute I told her to turn the necklace around. It was kind of coming low in the front. I just had her wear it backwards."

WELL SUITED
"She tried on the suit and we were like, 'This is the coolest outfit ever,'" says Danielle about Laura's pastel Sies Marjan suit and yellow heels worn to the CFDA Awards. "I think designer Sander Lak is a genius. Especially in terms of color."

STAYING IN CHARACTER
"I felt like that was the coolest look and it really felt like something that Laura's character in the film would wear in present day," says Danielle about this knit Proenza Schouler turtleneck dress. "I wanted her outfits to be a little bit more risqué since her character, Patrice, is so strong and she wears a lot of leather in the film."

FIRST DIBS
This hot pink mini made its way straight from the Louis Vuitton Resort 2019 runway to the red carpet. "Laura kind of freaked out at the show," Danielle recalls. "She texted me from across the way."

DAY DRESSING
For this press tour, it was Laura's time to experiment and step away from the sweet styles she wore to promote her previous film, Spider-Man: Homecoming. "I'd been wanting to have a Versace moment that felt kind of retro '90s Naomi [Campbell]," says Danielle. "I feel like we had an opportunity while promoting BlacKkKlansman to be a bit daring and a little bit sexier during the daytime."

PLAYING IT COOL
For another stop on her whirlwind press tour, Laura wore a Victor Glemaud striped red and black sweater with matching short shorts. "That outfit was just so fun," notes Danielle. "Victor is an incredible designer. I wanted to make sure we had him on a highlight note."

PREMIERE PICK
Danielle eyed this Loewe gown the second it came down the runway. "I emailed the PR director and asked if there's any way to hold this dress saying, 'I think I'm going to have a moment for it.'" Turns out that moment was for the Beverly Hills premiere of BlacKkKlansman.

PERFECT MATCH
Danielle calls this slouchy blouse and pant combo her favorite Louis Vuitton look Laura's ever worn. "She just looks so cool. Like, so, so cool."
