Kylie Jenner Says She's 'Never' Had Plastic Surgery, But Has Done Fillers: 'I'm Not Denying That'

The Kylie Cosmetics mogul addresses the rumors that she's gone under the knife to alter her face

Kylie Jenner‘s setting the record straight.

Although Jenner has admitted she’s gotten (and removed) temporary lip fillers, the Kylie Cosmetics mogul confirms that despite the rumors, she’s never gotten any plastic surgery done to her face.

“People think I fully went under the knife and completely reconstructed my face, which is completely false,” Jenner, 21, tells PAPER Magazine for a digital cover story.

She adds, “I’m terrified! I would never. They don’t understand what good hair and makeup and, like, fillers, can really do.”

Though the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star wasn’t always comfortable opening up about her fillers, now is a different story. “It’s fillers,” Jenner honestly admits. “I’m not denying that.”

After dissolving all of her lip fillers over the summer because she wanted to live a more “natural” life since 1-year-old daughter Stormi’s birth, Jenner started getting them again, but in moderation.

By October 2018, Jenner posted a selfie on Instagram thanking Pawnta Cosmetic Dermatology of Beverly Hills “for coming through late last night with a lip touch up!”

But her injector, Pawnta Abrahim, board certified nurse practitioner at Motykie Med Spa, said at the time, she was only plumping then star’s pout.

“We went the natural route for her touch-up since she’s so naturally beautiful and a new mom,” Abrahim said. “A lot of people get fillers because they’re getting older and losing the hyaluronic acid in their lips, but she’s so young that it has nothing to do with aging. For her, it’s just about adding a little pout to her lips.” That means no fillers for cheeks, under eyes, etc

She added that, “My philosophy has always been ‘less is more.’”

Jenner first revealed one of the big reasons she wanted to get fuller lips was because a boy assumed she’d be a bad kisser since she had naturally thin lips.

“I was 15 and I was insecure about my lips. I have really small lips. And it was like one of my first kisses and a guy was like, ‘I didn’t think you would be a good kisser because you have such small lips.’ But I took that really hard,” she said during an episode of her E! spin-off series Life of Kylie.

But before the lip kit creator tried injectables to enhance her lips, she simply used makeup to create a fuller look.

“I would overline my lips with lip liner just to create the illusion of bigger lips,” Jenner said. “And then finally I was like this lip liner isn’t doing it. [I] ended up getting my lips done.”
