Kylie Jenner just ignited another “real vs. faux” hair debate in the PeopleStyle office. The 18-year-old now has a new bob, documenting the “cut” on Snapchat, and confusing us all once again with her hair chameleon ways.
We’ve experienced Jenner’s faux-haircut fakeouts time and time again — all thanks to her extensive collection of short, long, and multi-colored wigs. This time, however, it seems as if her dramatic chop might actually the real thing. While getting ready for an event, the 18-year-old rising beauty mogul shared footage of the cut going down, captioning a photo “Bye Hair” while her hairstylist was hard at work.
Jenner then shared the final look on Instagram, revealing a sleek, A-line (longer in the front), side-parted, stick-straight style. But if this look is giving you déjà vu, it’s because it’s not the first time we’ve seen this cut on her. The star wore a nearly-exact wig to this year’s Met Gala — and while we hoped it would stay for good, she took a break from the short length to revert back to her longer locks.

This time, our fingers are crossed that her new chop is here to stay. But the guy in the photos does look a lot like her “wig guy,” Tokyo Stylez — so anything is possible.
