You didn’t actually think Kylie Jenner‘s platinum hair would last, did you? Good, because the 19-year-old has already moved on from the her show-stopping, bright-blonde shade for a trend perfectly in line with the Pantone color of the year (which also has the distinction of being extremely popular among millennials): rose quartz.

The Kylie Lip Kit founder debuted the fresh color on Instagram Thursday afternoon, simply saying “Rose gold.” It appears that all the Kardashian/Jenner sisters are back on their regular social media posting schedule after going dark for a few days following Kim Kardashian’s scary hotel room robbery: Kendall posted a photo of herself in a $15,500 heart-shaped fur jacket, Kourtney is sharing bible verses and Khloé’s got a denim line to promote. But none are more on-brand than Kylie, who has to post at least one photo of a hair change per month, per the giant editorial calendar we assume Kris Jenner has on a whiteboard in her pantry.

Prior to going pink, Jenner was pure platinum — a shade she didn’t plan on, but ultimately grew to love once the bleaching process began.

“We actually were gonna go honey blonde,” Jenner’s colorist Priscilla Valles previously told PeopleStyle about the new hue, which, according to the pro, wasn’t really inspired by anything other than the star wanting to lighten up her hair. “We were just making the decision as it was going along and it just worked out perfectly. Once we got pretty light we were like, ‘Well, should we keep going or should we stop here?’ And we just kind of slept on it and the next day we went lighter.”

Jenner’s non-commitment to hair color has almost become a game in the PeopleStyle office. You never know which shade she’ll try next.
