After Kim's Robbery, Kourtney Kardashian Posts Bible Verses While Kendall Jenner Wears a $15,500 Fur Coat
It’s a rare week without some Kardashian/Jenner social media madness, but after Kim Kardashian was robbed early Monday morning and the harrowing details of the events began to come out, her family went silent on social media while they regrouped to deal with the event. But slowly, they’re making their return to the medium, with Caitlyn and Kourtney posting prayers and bible verses for Kim, while Kendall Jenner made her grand return wearing a $15,500 fur coat shaped like a heart.
Kourtney started off the social media comeback, posting a picture on Twitter of an inspirational passage and a bible quote from the book Jesus Calling by Sarah Young, captioned with a simple prayer hand emoji.
The passage reads, “Remember that Joy is not dependent on your circumstances … Do not judge a day as devoid of Joy just because it contains difficulties. Instead, concentrate on staying in communication with Me … Other matters you must deal with, but I will help you with them. If you make problem-solving secondary to the goal of living close to Me, you can find Joy even in your most difficult days.”
Kendall followed suit, sharing a picture early Thursday morning of her “low key look” — which happens to be an ensemble that likely altogether costs more than your car. In the shot, the model goofs around in Rihanna’s bird-feeding jacket of choice, a $15,500 red, heart-shaped fox coat from Saint Laurent which she paired with ripped jeans, white Céline slip-ons, and oversized gold framed glasses.
Clearly, we all have different ways of coping with difficult situations, whether that’s turning to your faith for spiritual guidance or getting back to selfie business as usual.
What do you think of their social media returns?
