The 38-year-old mogul debuted a brand new hair color on Sunday, stepping out in Los Angeles with a fire engine red hue. She teamed her freshly-dyed strands with a matching and equally eye-catching outfit: a head-to-toe latex number that featured a flame motif on the bustier teamed with a pair of $200 Vex leggings. But is her hair the real deal? It’s hard to say. The photo was snapped as the star was leaving Milk Studios, so it’s possible she was on a photo shoot which required her to dress like the fire emoji and have the wig to match. And it’s very possible that she’s shooting promo ads for an upcoming makeup launch for her KKW Beauty Line. In a now-deleted post, the man behind her new look, Kardashian West’s go-to stylist Chris Appleton, asked fans to weigh in on the red hair moment on Instagram, but didn’t confirm whether or not it was a wig. Kardashian West and Appleton often have fun switching up her hair looks (they’ve gone platinum and pink together!), and have been known to play around with wigs and hairpieces. Splash News Online The reality star recently honored her hair guru on stage at the Hollywood Beauty Awards, where she wore one of her raciest looks ever — a cutout vintage Mugler gown that put her décolletage on full display. “You guys, this man changed my life, so I’m so proud of him,” Kardashian West said as she welcomed Appleton, who had won the Lori McCoy-Bell Hairstyling Award, on stage. She also opened up about her entire glam squad and thanked her inner circle for making her feel alive. “They give us life,” she shared. “They truly mean so much to me and so many people in the industry have become some of my closest friends.”
