Kim Kardashian West is dripping in old Hollywood glamour in an upcoming photo spread for 7HOLLYWOOD magazine, rocking a variety of poses and ensembles (plus a wavy bob hairstyle), harkening likeness to Sophia Loren (who inspired her Met Gala look) and Elizabeth Taylor — another one of her inspirations

Both Kardashian West, 39, and the magazine shared glimpses of the shoot on their respective Instagram accounts. For one look, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star lounges on a white bed while wearing black heels and a fitted black dress featuring all-over sequins and a plunging neckline. The reality stars models her sparkling Thierry Mugler outfit while throwing her head back slightly to show off the dazzling pearls decorating her neck.

For a slightly dressed-down vintage look, Kardashian West styled a half-sleeve white shirt over the glittering dress and switched out her pearls for a diamond choker, posing with her hand on her hip.

A video clip from the glam shoot (shared both on 7HOLLYWOOD‘s Instagram feed Thursday and Kardashian West’s Instagram Story Wednesday night) showed the star in various other Mugler outfits, such as a red pant and blazer ensemble and a high-neck, black and gold embellished mini dress.

Each look from the shoot, which was also conceptualized and styled by Mugler, was complete with glam accessories, from multiple rings to dangling earrings and blinged-out necklaces and bracelets.

Kardashian West is a longtime fan of the French designer, and famously wore his beaded latex creation to the 2019 Met Gala. Sticking with the theme of the night (“Camp: Notes on Fashion”) the reality star wore a tight corset to shockingly over-exaggerate her hourglass figure.

“This is the first time in 20 years Mr. Mugler has designed for the House of Mugler. So to come and design this gown for me is such an honor,” Kardashian West told Vogue on the Met Gala red carpet. “This is about eight months in the making … He envisioned me this California girl stepping out of the ocean, wet, dripping.”

Kardashian West also wore a skin-baring vintage design by Mugler to the Hollywood Beauty Awards in April, and days later, donned two structured dresses by the French designer for a Mugler exhibition opening in Montreal.

“He always, it’s a full vision from, you know, hair to nails to everything,” Kardashian West told PEOPLE of Mugler earlier this year. “His runway shows were the most legendary and iconic runway shows ever.”
