Kendall Jenner has walked at the Chanel show so many times now, she could do it in her sleep. Or maybe we should say jet-lagged — as the theme of this year’s show was Chanel Airlines, and Jenner and her fellow models achieved liftoff in the brand’s travel-themed ensembles.
Jenner, who wore two looks — a bow-emblazoned tweed top with a leather parachute pant/maxi skirt combo, and a red, white and blue tweed skirt suit with iridescent sunglasses and silver gloves — was watched by a front row that included “#proudmama” Kris Jenner, Lily-Rose Depp and mom Vanessa Paradis (both Chanel muses) and Maria Sharapova.
But perhaps the most surprising star in the front row? Model Cara Delevingne, who has in past years walked the Chanel runway holding hands with her BFF Jenner. (How close are they? Kendall’s been spotted wearing a Lola James necklace with their nickname, CaKe, all over Paris.)
But Delevingne did get her chance to hit the runway (or the jetway, as the case may be) when she leapt from her front-row seat to hug Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld and his young and adorable “muse,” Hudson Kroenig (the son of his favorite male model). She took a spin around the floor dressed in a black mini and blue anorak.
The person who had the least pleasant walk? Anna Wintour, who was accosted by Ukranian “prankster” Vitalii Sediuk (yes, the creep who tried to assault Brad Pitt and crawled under America Ferrera’s skirt at Cannes). Wearing a “high fashion look,” he ran up to the Vogue editor in an attempt to get an audience with her — but was dragged off by security three seconds later. (Do not. Mess. With Anna’s. Security.)
