Whether you like it or not, it seems Kendall Jenner is the 21st century supermodel who’s here to stay. But after her biggest year career-wise to date, landing one Vogue cover after the next and walking a number of catwalks for the biggest brands in the world, the twenty-year-old is now looking towards her professional future; a future that definitely doesn’t involve any runways. On Monday, Kendall announced she would be stepping behind the camera for the forthcoming issue of Love magazine, photographing the cover and turning to social media to find her new muse.

So not only is the model of the millennium stepping into a brand new role, but unlike her last turn as a photographer for Love shooting Kaia Gerber, she also won’t be featuring any of the usual “It Girls” from her genetically blessed #squad. Instead, the reality star is looking to all of the gorgeous people on social media just waiting to be discovered. The magazine’s Editor-in-Chief Katie Grand first went public with the news, sharing a shot of herself and the model with the caption, “For our next issue @kendalljenner and I are looking for the next ICON for our Love 17 cover star to be photographed by Kendall in LA late November. To apply take a picture of yourself here or on twitter and hashtag #LOVEME17 or email us ❤️”

Kendall followed up with a short video posted to Love‘s Twitter page reiterating the EIC’s statement, fixing her hair while saying, “Katie Grand and I are looking for this generation’s next icon, kinda like me, but a little less good. Go online and post a picture of yourself with a #LOVEME17 hashtag on it and you basically say what you do, what you like to do, you can literally be a flea wrangler, like you could catch lobsters and stuff and it doesn’t matter, we just want to know you. I just want to know you!”

According to a press release from the magazine, out of the candidates who submit themselves, Grand and Jenner will make a shortlist of 20 Finalists, who will be invited to LA in mid-November to be photographed by the model and interviewed for the cover story for the Spring/Summer 2017 issue of LOVE that comes out February 2017. So start practicing your smizes because KenGi could always use one more BFF.
