Okay, so Princess Kate didn’t go for a Brooklyn tee, but she did wear an American designer to the royal outing to see the New York Nets play, and it’s a sleek coat by Tory Burch!

Kate’s coat is the designer’s bouclé Bettina Coat, which is available online and at Tory Burch boutiques, and is on sale for $357 down from $595. She paired the midi length topper with black skinnies, sleek black pumps and a rectangular clutch. (What, you thought she would wear wedge sneakers and a backpack?) Prince William went for a laid-back red-and-blue checked shirt, navy pants and a Western-inspired belt for their royal courtside appearance.

It’s important to note that this isn’t the first time she’s worn Tory Burch: Kate famously brought Prince George to a playdate in New Zealand in a black-and-white zig zag dress. And yep, that one sold out within hours.

Kate often wears labels native to the land she’s visiting. In 2012, she kicked off her tour of Asia at a dinner in Singapore in Prabal Gurung, who was born there. This past April in Sydney she picked a white eyelet frock by Australian label Zimmermann.

Are you desperate to get your hands on Kate’s Tory Burch coat? Do you like her look for a basketball game?
