The supermodel is the new face of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics

It’s been an exciting month for Kate Upton. First a new partnership with Express and now a huge beauty campaign: The supermodel will be lending her bombshell looks to Bobbi Brown Cosmetics.

Upton sports a neutral lip and subtle cat eye in the first look ad above. She follows in Katie Holmes’s footsteps as the second celebrity spokesperson (ever!) for the brand, with her first campaign set to debut this July.

“I believe that confidence and being comfortable is the secret to beauty,” Bobbi Brown tells Upton in the clip below. “It’s really inspirational to see a woman who feels so good and so confident. You do what you feel and you don’t follow anyone’s rules. You’re not like anyone else. You’re completely individual and independent.”

“Coming from you, that’s pretty amazing,” Upton replies. “Definitely my mom gave me a lot of confidence. I was so excited to meet Bobbi, because you’re such an inspiration and your products have been everywhere growing up. My mom used them. We used them.”

Upton also shares that starting out in the fashion industry was tough for her. “At the time I was modeling, it was more of a slim look. I actually got down on myself,” she tells Brown. “I didn’t feel as confident. I didn’t feel beautiful. It took me a minute to realize that it doesn’t really matter what people say to you or what people think. It’s about competing with yourself and you being the best you can be.”

As for her top beauty secret, she’s all about highlighting her amazing cheekbones. “A little contour at the cheek. After jet lag, and you’re off a plane and you’re feeling bloated.”
