Kate Hudson‘s style is unpredictable. One day she’s leading the millennial pants trend revival, the next she’s on the slopes in a sports bra. (Remember when she ended the “leggings as pants” debate?) So if anyone could pull off a day filled with five different outfit changes, it would be a style-setter as seasoned as Hudson.
The actress was busy promoting her new film, Mother’s Day, in N.Y.C. Thursday, and of course she dressed the part for each appearance. First, she kicked off the fashion frenzy leaving her hotel for the Today Show in an otherwise casual outfit — a beige top, skinny jeans and maroon trench. But she added in that street style factor with a pair of peacock-print, knee-high Brian Atwood boots.
Once she got to the set, she changed into an olive Atea Oceanie turtleneck rib dress, where she talked about how fun it was filming with such a comedic cast and revealed that her mom, Goldie Hawn, is her “great confidant” and shares everything with her.
After filming Today, she headed to the tension-filled Live with Kelly and Michael set where she swapped into a vibrant Victoria Beckham sheath, nude Christian Louboutin pointy-toe heels and jewels courtesy her bestie Jennifer Meyer.

And to round out the day of press appearances she stopped by the Mamarazzi screening of Mother’s Day in a black and white striped billowy tank top with matching wide-leg pants (both Jenni Kayne) and platform heels.

Hudson saved her glitziest look for last, choosing a plunging Valentino halter gown, featuring a full tulle graphic-print skirt for the Cinema Society and Lands’ End screening of Mother’s Day.

Apparently, all the outfit swaps kept the star so busy, she forgot to take any pictures of her own.
That moment when you wake up and can’t wait to post a pic from last night cause it was so fun with all your friends and and all you have is a mirror selfie with the one friend you’re with ALL THE TIME….
However, it’s definitely a fitting Insta, considering Lopez styled her whirlwind day!
