The KarJenner Style and Beauty Moments of 2017 We're Still Talking About

When Kim's KKW Beauty Line Launched
Kim took fans by surprise earlier this year when she announced her intention to follow in her younger sister Kylie Jenner's footsteps by starting her own makeup line. The internet instantly exploded with excitment, especially when the star revealed her first product in the collection would be (of course) cream contour kits; they sold out of 300,000 units within hours of the initial launch.
Kim kept the thrill alive by following up with a corresponding powder contour kit and ultra-glittery pigments and lip glosses.
And there's still more to come. The star's been test driving nude lipsticks and lip liners the past few months (without any of us knowing). "I never had more people ask what lipstick it is in that photo," she says of a paparazzi shot outside the Alexander Wang show. "It was the most satisfying feeling when friends, makeup artists, everyone was like, ‘What is this lip liner?' I’m so excited for them to come out. It’s gonna be so good.”

A Jenner Communications CEO confirmed to CNBC that Kylie's cosmetics company generated the staggering sum in its first 18 months of operation, putting the 20-year-old on track to own a billion dollar business before she's 25.

When Kim Went Platinum
The second Kim stepped out at New York Fashion Week this fall sporting icy, platinum blonde hair, everyone initially assumed she was wearing a wig. Kim kept us all hanging for a few days, then revealed that she really did dye her hair -- and the process was far from easy.
“I’ve been talking about going blonde again for a long time, and I’m so happy I did! I know a lot of people initially thought I was wearing a wig, but it’s my real hair,” Kardashian confirmed. “My amazing stylist, Chris Appleton, dyed my hair and got it to the most perfect platinum, silvery-white color.”
She continued: “I was so scared that my hair would get ruined. It took about 12 hours for the first round of dyeing my hair – we definitely took our time with it so it wouldn’t get damaged,” she explained. ‘Then, we did another five hour session. In the end, so worth it.” (And she hasn't stopped there - she keeps going shorter and shorter while staying super-blonde.)

When Khloé's Good American Bodysuits Faced a Copyright Controversy
Every year brings a controversy or two to the Krew, which is exactly what Khloé faced when she launched some bejeweled bodysuits for her Good American brand. Designer Destiney Bleu argued that Khloé stole her designs, and Khloé immediately lawyered up and fought back.
“Under no circumstances did Good American or Khloé Kardashian infringe on another brand’s intellectual property and we are going through the proper legal channels to handle the situation," her company said in a statement.
After the star's renowned attorney Marty Singer sent Bleu a seven page letter calling the designer’s accusations an “absolute lie” and demanding that Bleu stop defaming Khloé and Good American, news of the lawsuit seemed to fizzle out.

When Kourtney Designed Her First Solo Clothing Collection
After years of running the DASH clothing empire, the eldest KarJenner teamed up with PrettyLittleThing to create her own solo collection, a 32-piece “Studio 54, old Hollywood and ’70s-inspired” collection of sexy sequin mini dresses, faux fur jackets, sparkly biker shorts and more perfect for the holiday season.
“I see my sisters almost every single day, so while I was designing the collection, if I was going over fabric swatches and they were sitting next to me, I would ask their opinion. Like confirming, ‘This is really a good dress, right?’ to just kind of get their stamp of approval,” Kardashian told PeopleStyle.

When Kim Released Three KKW Fragrances
Kim didn't limit her beauty empire to just cosmetics this year: She launched three crystal-inspired scents in her new KKW Fragrance brand that generated about $14 million in six days. The distinctive design was inspired by friends who would "bring me healing crystals at a time in my life where I needed some healing,” Kardashian told PeopleStyle.
“I really loved the idea of being so pure and taking that time to do what makes you happy and heal from everything you have going on in this crazy, chaotic life,” Kardashian told us. “I just wanted to create fragrances that made me feel happy and calm.”
