Jordin Sparks made her mark as the youngest-ever American Idol winner last year at age 17. And now she’s teaming up with Avon’s teen-focused Mark brand as the first-ever spokesperson for the line’s sales representatives. And she’s no stranger to the job. Both her mother and grandmother worked as Avon sales reps — and Sparks herself was even a Mark sales rep when the brand launched in 2003. Working with the company was “the first opportunity that I had as a young woman to learn valuable business skills and earn money to pursue my dreams,” she says. Starting this summer, Sparks will share her inspiration and advice with the Mark sales team and appear in the brand’s catalogue, on its websites and in a national ad campaign. And she’ll be in good company, joining Lauren Conrad as a star rep, who’s been the face of Mark since last fall. Click here to learn more about becoming a Mark sales representative yourself.
