When spring comes along, you know that it’s time to switch out your winter clothes for a lighter, brighter wardrobe. And when you’re doing all the exchanging, don’t forget about giving your makeup a fresh spring twist, too, like trading your black eyeliner for hues like purple or blue or reaching for pink lipstick instead of deep wintery reds.

Need some inspiration? We’ve tapped actress Jordana Brewster and her makeup artist Jamie Greenberg (who both teamed up with Zyrtec this spring) to share their must-have spring beauty tips. Their suggestion: Swipe on turquoise winged eyeliner and pair it with a fuchsia lip to give your beauty look a healthy spring pop.

“Blue eyeliner is bold and different, and something that is super noticeable,” Brewster says of the look that Greenberg created on her in the How It’s Done video above. And according to Brewster, it’s best when worn with a bold lip, an extra touch that she describes as “unexpected.”
