She models her store's fabric, which also happens to look great in throw pillow form

As Real Housewives fans know, Jill Zarin loves a custom creation. Remember all her visits to Zang Toi’s showroom (and walk down the runway) during her time on the show? So to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Zarin Fabrics, something off the rack just wouldn’t do.

Instead, the former Real Housewives of New York star pulled fabric off her family store’s shelves and teamed up with Project Runway season 10 runner-up Fabio Costa to create outfits constructed out of her very own material.

Zarin threw a lavish party at the brand’s storied Lower East Side showroom to celebrate the company’s milestone wearing a floor-length circle skirt made out of a graphic-print graffiti collage fabric (which also happens to make some chic throw pillows, if you’re into that whole “matching your skirt with your upholstery” trend).

Costa created three other looks that were modeled throughout the party, on humans but also possibly on furniture. One is a sleeveless midi dress made with a splatter paint-printed fabric, another a chic LBD with an attached skirt and finally, a white dress with sheer overlay paired with a matching pant.

And in case you’re wondering (we know you are) yes, past and present RHONY members stopped by. Luann de Lesseps and her fiancé Tom D’Agostino made an appearance along with former Real Housewives Kristen Taekman and Kelly Killoren Bensimon.

Dina Lohan and daughter Ali Lohan were also there to support the brand.

But the best news we can share about the event was that Dorinda Medley’s boyfriend John Mahdessian attended– without Dorinda! Has he learned nothing?!
