Jessica Simpson Rocks Booty Shorts in New Activewear Line

Anyone who has seen Jessica Simpson in a miniskirt can’t doubt her commitment to fitness, but she’s really driving the point home with her new line of activewear, called Jessica Simpson The Warm Up. Case in point: Her first ad campaign for the collection.
The fitness fashion, the latest in the star’s lifestyle empire (which encompasses more than 30 categories and celebrated its 10th anniversary this year), is displayed to great, stretchy effect in teeny tiny booty shorts, a T-back workout top and a ponytail we’d like to emulate posthaste (you can get the workout clothes, at least, at Macy’s. Ponytail sadly not included). She also gives us gym goals in print leggings and a hand chain while stretching:
“Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is important to me, and fitness has been a priority in my life since having my kids,” Simpson said about launching The Warm Up. “It’s exciting to be sharing a true performance line — it’s a blend of great active features, technology and fashion.”

And she lives the “athleisure” lifestyle, getting in a lot of her activity through every day activity with her kids. “I walk three miles a day,” she says. “Eric and I love taking the kids out for long walks in the neighborhood. And chasing them around our yard is a workout all its own!”
That doesn’t mean she won’t get serious in the gym (need we mention those legs again?). Her routine includes “A lot of walking, squats and uphill lunges as well as isolated resistance exercises with bands, kettlebells and the BOSU [ball], keep my legs toned and lean.”
