Jennifer Lopez has already promised that her upcoming Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino (set to kick off in January 2016) will be “everything I think the fans have come to know me for on stage.” Which means her skin-baring, sequin-covered outfits are bound to be next-level. In honor of her show, we’re looking back at the singer’s most memorable stage looks of all time.

Brittany Talarico, Style News Editor: I don’t remember which team won the 2014 World Cup, but I do remember Lopez’s emerald beaded fringe mini and studded stockings. (To remind you what it looked like in motion, please click here.) The whole look epitomizes J.Lo glam, and this photo gives me gym inspiration every time I look at it.

Lindsay Schallon, Senior Style Editor: The only thing better than a J.Lo appearance? A surprise J.Lo appearance. At a Taylor Swift concert. With her singing “Jenny From The Block.” But the real cherry on top is the sparkly, sporty jumpsuit and matching bedazzled Yankees cap the singer wore to pay homage to her hometown. (The Bronx!) She might be a Vegas diva now, but I love it when Jenny throwbacks to her roots. More of this, please!

Andrea Lavinthal, Style and Beauty Director: The craziest thing about this photo isn’t that J.Lo is wearing a sparkly bra, a gold miniskirt, high boots and a body chain, because all of that is just a typical Wednesday for the superstar. What’s really insane is that this is from the 1999 Billboard Music Awards (she sang “Waiting For Tonight”), and she looks exactly the same more than 15 years later.

Jackie Fields, Beauty Editor: Denim on denim. Who else could make the monochrome combo look like a million bucks? Only Jenny, who strategically matched her sparkly top to a thoroughly blinged-out bra and microphone stand while teaching American Idol contestants a thing or two about stage presence during season 13. Oh, and the fact that she’s wearing her weight in gold, all the way down to her dotted fishnets, helps too.

Catherine Kast, Style Editor: You might not consider a nude sparkly bodysuit timeless, but I’d like to make the argument that it is. Cher’s been rocking them on and off since 1974, Britney famously wore one singing Toxic in 2003, Katy Perry in 2012. The list goes on. But the star managed to make her 2012 version oh so J.Lo. How? The placement of the crystals cut a silhouette that resembles another of the singer’s signatures: a body con silver mini — spotted on the star more times than we can count. (Here’s a couple of examples just in case you didn’t believe us: the 2011 Grammys and last year on Idol.)

Colleen Kratofil, Style Writer-Reporter: J.Lo’s first performance at the 2011 American Music Awards merited a lot of attention (she wore a sheer glittery one-piece), but considering that’s pretty much her norm nowadays, it was her second that’s really the most memorable — a glow-in-the-dark long-sleeve top, flirty skirt and lace-up shoes (plus, a killer high pony) that makes me hope her residency is filled with more technicolor stage moments.

Sarah Kinonen, Style & Beauty Editorial Assistant: One of my all-time favorite looks has got to be the plunging multi-colored, gold safety pin-adorned one-piece from her performance at the iHeartRadio Ultimate Pool Party in Miami last June. The jaw-dropping ensemble — an itty-bitt skin-baring look — is classic J.Lo (we all know how much she loves a tropical print) and something only the ultra-glam star could pull off flawlessly.
