Jennifer Aniston: Style Chameleon
Though has been wowing with her fashion sense since her breakout role in Friends (those crop tops and leather blazers!), the trend most associated with the star is the LBD. On our June cover (on stands and tablets now), she wears one of her signature styles: a simple black dress that shows off her shoulders.
EPITOME OF LBD
There’s a reason she returns to the classic little black dress again and again: She rocks it like no one else. At the Spike TV Awards, she makes a major impact in an ultra-simple spaghetti-strap tank and sandals.
SHE'S A LADY
Occasionally Jen will ditch her favored black frocks for sweet, girlie looks, like the pretty floral Prada she wears with nude heels to leave her handprints outside Grauman’s Chinese Theater.
The star’s favorite feature to flaunt: her yoga-toned gams (we’d show ‘em off too!). But she loves to mix things up with menswear-inspired outfits, like this plunging Dolce & Gabbana suit set she dons to turn heads at the 2011 People’s Choice Awards.
She only recently gave up her N.Y.C. apartment, but fans have long associated Jennifer with a laid-back L.A. lifestyle – and style. The actress is often spotted in bikinis and sporty shorts while exercising al fresco.
GETTIN' BAGGY WITH IT
Her happiness level since meeting Justin Theroux is “a 10-plus”, and her current style shows her boho boyfriend’s influence as well. Once a simple jeans-and-tee type, Jennifer is now more commonly seen in pegged denim, oversized scarves and ultra-hip booties.
SKIN IS IN
Lest you forget she has a sick body underneath those jeans, however, she likes to ditch her low-key street style for va-va-voom red carpet ensembles. At the 2010 Golden Globes, she shows miles of leg in a slit-to-there, one-shoulder number and her signature beachy waves.
Between her charity work and fragrance and film commitments, the actress is quite the mogul. To do business in N.Y.C., she selects a slim-fitting gray peplum, spiced up with funky orange shoes and a classic black bag.
IN THE MIX
Some of Jen’s most memorable outfits have been black-tie gowns, but she never goes too predictable. At the 2009 Oscars, she adds her own twist to a classically elegant sequined column by opting for loose, braided locks instead of a traditional updo.
Though she tends to abide by a “less is more” motto, she sometimes gets a little saucier on promo tours. Statement earrings, strappy sandals and a tuxedo jacket add fashion-forward interest to one of her beloved minidresses at the London Bounty Hunter premiere.
