Ireland Baldwin Gets a New Tattoo in Honor of Her Dad Alec Baldwin
The 19-year-old model (and amateur tattoo artist) is at it again!
At the start of Fashion Week in September, Ireland Baldwin debuted a fresh tat of David Bowie, and now she’s honoring dad Alec Baldwin with the word “Écureuil” (it’s French for “squirrel”) on her wrist.

The star visited tattoo artist, Jon Boy at West 4 Tattoo studio in N.Y.C. on Sunday for the new addition. According the Page Six, “squirrel” is Alec’s nickname. The sweet nod to her dad is just one of a few tattoos the model already has on her arm. There’s the large floral print, a Hello Kitty emblem and the cover art to Bowie’s sixth album, Aladdin Sane.

The star stopped by the same studio last month for her Fashion Week ink and even brought dad in tow!
This time, she tried out her own skills on Jon himself! She inked the tattoo artist with “LA” written in cursive.
Even though the family experienced the very public “little pig” rant back in 2007, the duo couldn’t be closer today. In July they posed together (well, Alec mimicked the model’s killer poses) on the carpet at the N.Y.C. premiere of Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation. And after seeking treatment for emotional trauma in April, Ireland credits her family for helping her through it. At the time she tweeted, “This is the last thing I’m going to say about everything that’s been going on… Both of my parents, step mom, carmen and friends were all there for me at all times. Little do you know … We’ve never left each other’s sides.”
Ireland also posed with her dad, his wife of three years, Hilaria Baldwin, and their children, daughter Carmen and son Rafael, in a photo on Instagram.
“I could not adore them more,” she shared.
