The actress and singer, 45, announced her engagement to boyfriend, actor Aaron Lohr via Twitter on Friday. And on Saturday night, she finally showed off her rock when she walked the carpet at the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas. Menzel kept it simple in an all-black ensemble, allowing everyone’s attention to focus on the debut of her engagement ring. “As if this week couldn’t get any better I have wonderful news… my man and I are engaged! We are so happy,” the 45-year-old Tony Award winner wrote to announce her engagement. “It’s a beautiful time.” Lohr and Menzel moved in together last fall, but have been friends for years. They costarred in the 2005 film adaptation of Rent. The Frozen star was previously married to fellow Broadway star Taye Diggs. She and Diggs share a son, 7-year-old Walker.
