How Venus and Serena Williams Are Coordinating on the Tennis Court

Venus actually designed outfits to match her sister's Nike garb

Many of us with siblings close in age are so over those coordinating outfits of our childhood — but not Venus and Serena Williams. The sisters selected matching white, navy and red outfits for their doubles match at the Olympics on Monday — and dominated in the process.

Since Serena is a Nike athlete, and wears the brand’s goods, Venus actually designed a look of her own to match her sister’s style, and is selling the pieces in limited quantities through her EleVen clothing line.

The top and skirt — manufactured in the United States — give a nod to Wonder Woman, Venus admits. “I hope it will help me channel my favorite superhero,” she says, “and manifest another gold medal.”
