If you don’t own a pair of boyfriend jeans because you’re not sure what to wear them with, that’s all about to change. Our Celeb Style Council members happen to all be experts at sporting baggy denim, and they’re here to model their favorite looks and share their best tips with you. (P.S.: Jamie, Nikki and Louise are all wearing Gap’s 1969 boyfriend jeans below. You’re going to want to nab a pair after you read this.)

Kristin Cavallari: “Because of the holes in the jeans, they’re perfect for daytime but not night. I always think with boyfriend jeans it’s important to keep the top on the tighter side so you don’t look frumpy. If I wasn’t pregnant, I would probably throw a blazer on as well.”

Nikki Reed: “I love adding color and texture to denim — a bright purse or a scarf does the trick. This is my fave running-errands look.”

Louise Roe: “I glammed up tomboy jeans with earrings, heels and a blazer. This outfit is low-key enough for a day, but can also work for a date.”

Cat Deeley: “I wanted an outfit that looked easy and put-together, but not like I was trying to hard. So I paired my distressed boyfriends with my Chanel purse and classic striped tee.”

Jamie Chung: “I was going for an edgy-but-sweet vibe. I love that you can actually breathe in these jeans and don’t have to wrestle them on or off.”

Kourtney Kardashian: “Because I’m petite, wearing heels is a must. A tailored button-up is timeless and balances the bagginess of my jeans.”

Ashley Madekwe: “This look has very feminine elements like the fluffy sweater and the pale-pink heels but yet still stays edgy due to the leather jacket and ripped jeans. It’s perfect for a late lunch with the girls that turns into cocktails.”
