The man behind some of Blake’s most iconic red carpet looks, hairstylist Rod Ortega, stopped by the PeopleStyle offices to show how to create those effortless waves Blake wore to the amfAR gala in N.Y.C. in February. The look may seem complicated, but the braid and waves combo is actually easy to achieve as long as you have these three things — a wand (Ortega used T3’s latest curler), a light texture spray like L’Oréal Paris Air-Blown Texture Mist and a mascara spooly to backcomb the braid for a more textured, undone look.
