Gwyneth Paltrow and Her Mom Blythe Danner Attend Goop Event in Matching Prada Pantsuits
Talk about a twinning moment!
Gwyneth Paltrow and her mother Blythe Danner were spotted in the Hamptons Thursday wearing matching floral Prada pantsuits for a Summer Soirée event at the Goop MRKT pop-up. The mother-daughter duo arrived at the party, which was hosted by the 44-year-old actress, alongside her two kids Apple, 13, and Moses, 11.
Both stars wore pajama-inspired Prada outfits featuring bright floral prints. Paltrow rocked a green-and-white combo consisting of a button-up shirt tucked into tailored pants. Danner, 74, opted for a red-and-black color palette with a longer smoking jacket tied over a pair of flared trousers.
Other notable celebs spotted at the Goop event included Reese Witherspoon, Zoe Kazan, Molly Sims, Jessica Seinfeld, and Paul Dano. Paltrow and Danner enjoyed the warm weather in the garden, while Witherspoon stocked up on her favorite Goop products. Guests could be found sipping hand-crafted cocktails from Dorsey at the Venetian.

The brand, which was founded by Paltrow in 2008, is known for luxe gift-guides, cool capsule collections, and an eponymous on-toxic and all-natural beauty line but has recently received some criticism for promoting some unconventional beauty practices and products — like vaginal steaming, jade eggs and “Body Vibes” stickers. But the Goop team has recently defended its product choice and recommendations.
In a recent post on the lifestyle site entitled ‘Uncensored: A Word From Our Doctors,’ the Goop family defends some of the unconventional methods they’ve covered, complete with notes from doctors who support the.
“As goop has grown, so has the attention we receive,” the post states. “We consistently find ourselves to be of interest to many—and for that, we are grateful—but we also find that there are third parties who critique goop to leverage that interest and bring attention to themselves. Encouraging discussion of new ideas is certainly one of our goals, but indiscriminate attacks that question the motivation and integrity of the doctors who contribute to the site is not. This is the first in a series of posts revisiting these topics and offering our contributing M.D.’s a chance to articulate theirs, in a respectful and substantive manner.”
So regardless on where you land on vaginal jade eggs, Paltrow and her team are just happy you’re talking about them.
