The singer debuted a chic new haircut — a sleek, asymmetrical, chin-grazing bob and a fresh set of fringe — on the red carpet Monday evening.

She paired the super-short, blunt cut with a color-blocking bright red crop top and a high-waisted, high-slit fuchsia skirt (that exposed her briefs!) by Atelier Versace, plus a multi-color sapphire Lorraine Schwartz choker necklace and strappy gold Stuart Weitzman sandals.

Before hitting the red carpet, Swift gave fans a sneak peek of the new do in a short Twitter video, showing BFF Selena Gomez freaking out over the “Bad Blood” music video Grammy win.

Previously, the singer rocked a sleek, shoulder-grazing bob with wispy, side-swept bangs, which, she said, was a hairstyle that took her six months to work up the courage to make the chop.

“I actually cut my hair here [in London], in the O2 arena backstage,” she previously told PEOPLE. “All my friends watched, including Ellie Goulding. I was planning it for six months. I was like, ‘I’m doing it. I’m cutting my hair. I’m changing my hair for the first time ever.'”
