Grammys 2015: The Best Statement Necklaces of the Night (Like Rihanna's Performance Piece Featuring 203 Diamonds)
The best statement bling on the red carpet
There is no such thing as over-accessorizing at the Grammy Awards (read: the more bling the better). And stars didn’t shy away from mega-carat, head-turning necklaces on Sunday’s red carpet. Below, we rounded up some of the boldest looks of the night.
Rihanna hit the stage to perform “FourFiveSeconds” with Kanye West and Paul McCartney in a black Maison Margiela suit (a complete style 180° from her pink Giambattista Valli Haute Couture confection), teamed with a 81.88-carat Chopard diamond necklace, set in platinum. The piece, from the label’s high jewelry collection, featured 203 sparkling stones.
Jane Fonda, 77, pushed the envelope with her green Balmain jumpsuit (risky!), and she didn’t stop there. The age-defying actress added a gold choker with long metal fringe (straight from the line’s lookbook!) to complete her look.

And Lady Gaga had not one, but two, major necklace moments, first hitting the red carpet in a 50-carat pear-shape emerald drop necklace (on a diamond chain!) by Lorraine Schwartz, followed by a vintage-inspired diamond necklace for her performance with Tony Bennett (also by the celeb-loved jewelry designer).
