Naomi Watts
Talk about a head-to-toe glow! “Naomi’s dress has a reflective quality, and I wanted to mirror that on her skin for an overall glowing look,” explains makeup artist Jillian Dempsey, who applied Shiesido’s Synchro Skin Self-Refreshing Foundation in Quartz on the star’s skin. She completed the look with the brand’s Modern Matte Powder lipstick in 512, a cherry red Dempsey describes as “a modern take on the red lip.” Meanwhile, hairstylist Renato Campora perfected her blunt bob.

Cynthia Erivo
From her $3 million Bulgari necklace to her newly chrome crop, we’re certain the best actress nominee’s Globes motto was: Go big or go home. Hairstylist Coree Moreno used Dove’s upcoming Amplified Textures Spa Recovery Mask, which the pro says was important for keeping her hair healthy “post-process.” A spritz of Dove’s Style+Care Extra Hold Hairspray kept her hair “perfectly in place all night without flaking.”

Cate Blanchett
Hairstylist Robert Vetica swept the actress’s hair off the delicate neckline of her romantic Mary Katrantzou dress into a “soft and ethereal” updo “to keep things from leaning retro.” He applied Leonor Greyl Mousse au Lotus Volumtrice on her damp hair to increase volume and enhance texture, then once her hair was dry and curled (using an Olivia Garden flat iron), he boosted her roots with Leonore Greyl’s Voluforme, and a bit of backcombing. Once pinned back, he gently and strategically pulled out face-framing pieces along her hairline for a “feminine” look.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel nominee’s pro Lisa Aharon takes prepping her client’s sensitive skin very seriously. “We always leave plenty of time for prep, especially before a red carpet. This makes my job easier in the long run and ensures beautiful skin from head-to-toe!” Once her skin had been hydrated with hyaluronic-acid packed Cetaphil Daily Hydrating Lotion, she pressed on the Shiseido Synchro Skin Self-Refreshing Foundation in Porcelain 140 using a Beautyblender. “For any little spots that needed a little more love and under the eyes, I used Shiseido Synchro Skin Self-Refreshing Concealer in 102 with the Tsutsu Fude Concealer Brush,” she added. A bold lip completed her look.

Tiffany Haddish
The comedian’s makeup artist Mali Magic says she was thinking spring when she created the star’s “soft and fresh” look. With the season approaching, “My inspiration behind Tiffany's look was Japanese Cherry Blossoms,” she says. “On her skin we used Pat McGrath Labs Skin Fetish Sublime Perfection Foundation. It's all about flawless skin, which is perfect for the carpet and my #DewyBrownGirls.” Then the pro blended shades from Pat McGrath Labs’ Mothership Vi: Midnight Sun Palette "because it has the perfect balance of warm mattes & stunning duo-chromes to make the eyes pop.”
