Gwyneth Paltrow's Bronzed Skin
Inspired by her sheer Fendi gown, makeup artist Georgie Eisdell wanted The Politician star to look "like Helen of Troy, the most beautiful woman in the world." To create the look of a "modern-day bronzed bombshell," the pro used only a small amount of Chantecaille Future Skin Foundation on the high points of Paltrow's face and T-zone, and blended the Chantecaille Éclat Brillant on the cheekbones to give "a gorgeous highlight."

Cynthia Erivo's Chrome Cut
To pull together the Harriet actress and nominee's "men’s '60s combover vibe," Erivo and hairstylist Coree Moreno made a bold choice: to dye her hair silver the morning-of the Globes!
"We started in the morning with a double process color creating a custom iced chrome tone," Moreno said. "The key to the perfect color is having a well moisturized base," adds the pro, who used Dove's Amplified Textures Hydrating Cleanse Shampoo and Moisture Spa Recovery Mask -- which launch at Target in February! -- during their session "to ensure her hair is off to a healthy start this award season."

Makeup artist Jo Strettell said the Catherine the Great nominee's cranberry-colored Dior Haute Couture gown inspired the "fresh and chic" lipcolor of the same tone. To prep her lips, Strettell first lined them using the L'Oréal Paris Age Perfect Anti-Feathering Lipliner in Rich Cranberry and finished with the L'Oréal Paris Age Perfect Luminous Hydrating Lipstick + Nourishing Serum in Perfect Burgundy.

Lucy Boynton's Glitter Eyes
Drawing inspiration from the actress' silver, glass-beaded Louis Vuitton gown, makeup artist Jo Baker created a dramatic glitter-flecked cat eye that she described as "galactic deco doll."
Baker said: "We wanted to create a two-tone, metallic, jeweled eye with little silver gems, but underneath there’s just a wash of Chanel Ombre Première Laque in Desert Wind. I applied the color all around her eye, then overly extended the edges for a retro curve."
