You thought the social media model of the year was going to turn 21 in just low-key jeans and a gingham one-piece? You should turn in your Snapchat account right now. After a relatively relaxed series of birthday celebrations on the actual day — that is, if you consider being handed a cake on a private jet by Taylor Swift relaxed — Hadid had her chandelier-swinging moment at the Hollywood hangout of the moment, The Nice Guy, and all her friends came along (in various states of Kardashi-dress) to join her.

First up, Gigi and her BFF (seriously, they have the necklaces to prove it) Kendall Jenner. The birthday girl wore a multi-layered ensemble, and we’re not using that adjective lightly: She tied a long white Rockins scarf around her neck as a choker, letting the tails drape down over the back of her high-low tank (it has a duster-length hem in the back). She then added two more chokers, white short-shorts and lace-up thigh-high boots right out of the Kendall Jenner playbook. Kenny, for her part, went relatively low-key, wearing a pajama-inspired celestial-print silk Naeem Khan suit over a sexy lace Anine Bing bralette. The requisite choker, of course, made an appearance.

Next up: Squad captain Taylor Swift, who arrived in her new favorite pair of Vetements boots (so edgy!) paired with a rainbow sequin Haney minidress (which gives us Jennifer Lawrence flashbacks) with a draped hem. She played up her new Vogue-approved “rocker chic” look with a dark lip and her new platinum bob.

Gigi and Tay’s Bad Blood costar Lily Aldridge also went for a goth-glam look, choosing a stained wine lip to go with her black slip dress, chunky studded platforms and chain-link choker. No word on whether Aldridge is wearing Kylie Lip Kit again, but she did snap a pic with KarJenner fave makeup artist Patrick Ta, so it’s a safe bet.

Speaking of the KarJenners: Kourtney, Khloé and Kylie all made appearances and seemed to have gotten the dress code memo: The Kardashians wore plunging (what else?!) looks in all-black, while Kylie chose a tracksuit-inspired white two piece with a crop top (what else?!).

One person not adhering to the dress code? Naomi Campbell, because she doesn’t have to do anything she doesn’t want to. After Gigi stopped by to support Campbell’s $1,750 limited-edition coffee table book earlier in the night, Campbell returned the favor, popping by in a ruffled pink dress to toast the girl she taught to walk the runway.

Jaden Smith also was there (he’s a Louis Vuitton womenswear model, so fully squad-adjacent) in a predictably bold look of a flat-brim, open-crown hat, a statement tee (we’ll let you decide what the statement is) and a waist-wrapped flannel.

Nxt up, the Haile(e)(y)s. Steinfeld arrived in a black lace-trimmed slip dress with a blush moto jacket and strappy heels, while Baldwin seemed to have borrowed a piece from no-show Kim Kardashian’s closet, topping a beige bodysuit with a beige fishnet shift and adding Bionda Castana heels and (say it with us now) a choker.

Shanina Shaik attended in a boudoir-inspired navy gown with tassel ties at the waist, fur coat and thigh-high boots, walking in with Ashlee Simpson and husband Evan Ross, having a very fashion-forward date night out.
