When temperatures reach over 90° most people tend to wear clothes that are comfortable and breathable, like a pair of cutoffs or a light day dress, but Gigi Hadid is not like most people. N.Y.C. experienced its first heat wave of the season over the weekend, and the model took that as an opportunity to prove once again, that celebrities are immune to severe weather conditions. She was spotted out each day wearing a series of statement pants, which may have looked “cool” but most probably made her hot. Nonetheless, she looked radiant (and sweat-free) every time.

Her pants parade started on Friday when she stepped out wearing an all-over camo-print outfit. She teamed a cropped camouflage hoodie with matching drawstring sweat pants and velvet Stuart Weitzman flats. While we can definitely get behind the comfy outfit, we wouldn’t say the same about a sweat-prone velvet shoe on a sweltering day.

On Saturday she tested out the new denim trend, detachable jeans, with her white-hot bottoms. (Opening Ceremony started a new wave of wacky jean styles with a $425 pair that shows cutouts at the top of the leg to make it appear like shorts with attachments.) And one can argue Hadid made the look even more polarizing with her accessories, strapping her pants into her nude lace-up heels and toting around a mini Stalvey top-handle purse.

On Sunday she wore an Adam Selman hot pink ensemble with a rose-print sweatshirt with baggy paperbag-waist trousers. And thankfully, opted to wear the matching blazer around her waist (reminder: heat wave). She went monochromatic with her accessorizes a pair of matching pink sneakers, Stalvey bag and pair of retro Adam Selman x Le Specs sunglasses.

Just like the heat wave, her wacky pants weekend isn’t slowing anytime soon. The model was spotted on a humid Monday morning wearing a white crop top with striped cropped flared trousers with a giraffe embroidered on the knee and paired them with leather ankle booties. Because what humidity?
