In her own version of Kylie Jenner‘s go-to daywear, Gigi Hadid hit the streets of New York City’s SoHo wearing leggings and a sports bra. The model paired black and peach New Balance leggings with a black Nike sports bra (similar) and a black zipper-covered bomber jacket. Sporting her favorite sneakers (Yeezy Boost 350s, of course) the 20-year-old kept her hair pulled tight into a messy bun and shielded her eyes with round reflective shades while she carted a black leather bowling bag-style Elizabeth and James purse. Hadid is just the latest celeb to get in on the athleisure trend, a.k.a. wearing fitness wear whether you’re headed to the gym or not. Alo Ceballos/GC Images Hadid is certainly having a good week: Victoria’s Secret broke the news that she’s landed a coveted spot in this year’s annual Fashion Show (her “dream” gig). While there’s no question the star’s got an enviable figure (see above photo), she still faces harsh body critique and has the same insecurities many girls face. In September she urged her followers to be kinder, not only to her, but to one another in a lengthy Instagram post. “No, I don’t have the same body type as the other models in the shows,” she wrote at the time, before adding, “I represent a body image that wasn’t accepted in high-fashion before, and I’m very lucky to be supported by the designers, stylists, and editors that I am: ones that know this is fashion, it’s art, it can never stay the same. It’s 2015. But if you’re not one of those people, don’t take your anger out on me.” Gigi Hadid: OMG Yes Taylor Swift Could be a [ITALIC “Sports Illustrated”] Swimsuit Model!
