You’ve been busily bookmarking our gift guide, but this December, we’re also going to draw your attention to great gifts that also give back — to the community, to children, to the world around us. Check them out, and share your favorite gifts that give in the comments.

Jessica isn’t the only creative Biel in the family. Her brother Justin and his best childhood friend Grason Ratowsky have teamed up to create a line of handmade-in-Colorado bags made from recycled burlap coffee sacks sourced from local Denver roasters, and which come from all over the world. The result is a sustainable, stylish and unisex line of bags that have at least one A-list celebrity fan (that would be Jessica Biel).

Justin has a background in start-ups and philanthropy, so he and Ratowsky plan to expand their line to include not only recycled materials from sails and grain bags from breweries, but to create a “hands-on charitable giving component” down the road as well, according to Vogue. But for the time being, you can do the environment a solid by picking up one of their eco-conscious designs (like this clutch, $80) that are one-of-a-kind, just like you.

How are you giving back this holiday season? What’s your charity of choice? Let us know in the comments.
