Get Allison Williams a Dinglehopper: She's Getting Hair Inspiration from Ariel These Days

The Girls actress is having fun while growing out her fringe.

While most of us look to Pinterest boards (or, you know, PeopleStyle.com) for our hair inspiration, Allison Williams is digging deep into the Disney archives for inspo her latest style. And while she might have gadgets and gizmos aplenty to style her locks, there’s only one she really needs: a fork, repurposed into a “dinglehopper,” to use as a brush.

The Girls star, 28, is currently growing out her bangs — and she’s getting all the style tips she needs from everyone’s favorite under-the-sea dweller. “Still trying to offload those 20 thingamabobs…get at me if you’re interested. Love, Crazy Eyed-Ariel ❤️??” she wrote on Instagram.

The actress’s longer do slightly poufs out to the side, just like the Disney princess’s fiery style, which the makes the “Ariel Bang” comparison that much more real (and adorable).

Something must have been in the er, water, this weekend because Williams wasn’t the only star to channel a well-known character from the Disney flick.

After several princess comparisons (like her Cinderella-inspired ball gown), Cannes superstar Blake Lively set the style record straight, calling out the real character she looked to when putting together her dazzling ensembles for the French film festival.

“Everyone thinks I was inspired by the princesses. If they only knew…,” she quipped on Instagram, while showing off a photo of the evil sea witch, Ursula. And while we love her sense of humor, we can all agree that no one is going to confuse the Cinderella-esque star for an evil purple octopus anytime soon.
