See a new group catwalkers put their lip sync skills to the test
If you’ve been transfixed on watching every single celeb sighting during fashion month, than you may have missed out on some other big style news. George Michael’s song “Freedom! ’90” just got a high-fashion reboot thanks to Vogue, plus Cara Delevingne and Rihanna united for a positive new campaign and Tom Hiddleston has a dapper gig modeling suits (spoiler alert: he’s very good at it).
George Michael’s 1990 song “Freedom! ’90” is iconic for featuring the top five models of the decade, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Tatjana Patitz, Christy Turlington and Cindy Crawford. They all lip synced their way through the video with killer gazes and sultry stares and Vogue celebrated its 26th anniversary by bringing back the beats with a new slew of models in an epic lip sync battle.
The magazine tapped Joan Smalls, Adriana Lima, Taylor Hill, Irina Shayk and 12 other top models to strut their stuff all across N.Y.C. wearing the best looks straight off New York Fashion Week runways. See them put their singing and dancing skills to the test!
Puma confirmed with Footwear News that they’ve tapped Cara Delevingne as a new brand ambassador for its #DoYou campaign, and that the accompanying video is directed by Rihanna. Puma called Delevingne its “fiercest female ambassador” and in the video she owns that title, getting candid about insecurities everyone faces.
“It’s not about finding yourself. It’s good to be inspired and look up to people, but to really find out what makes you happy, no matter what that is, don’t follow the crowd,” she captioned the brand’s post. “Don’t do what other people do because everyone else is doing it. If you want to go against the grain, don’t be scared to, because if that’s what makes you happy, it doesn’t matter.”
On her Instagram she posted a pic with her shirt ripped off and the word “mine” written across her stomach writing, “it’s yours so own it.”
Next up, Tom Hiddleston landed a stylish new gig with Gucci. He’s the face of Gucci Tailoring’s latest campaign and poses in a series of printed suits and tuxedos on set in the L.A. mansion of eclectic Hollywood interior decorator, Tony Duquette. He may have dreamy good looks and the interior decorating may be to-die-for, but we’re completely hung up on his scene-stealing furry co-stars.
And finally, Ireland Baldwin is fronting True Religion’s This Is True campaign launching next week, but you can catch a glimpse of the jeans now in her topless campaign pic above.
