You think you’re a “Last Night’s Look: Love It or Leave It” addict? You should stop by the office sometime to see us passionately debating, defending and delighting in celeb styles — the good, the bad and the wacky. This week, we round up two looks we were loving and one that didn’t quite do it for us — check ’em out below and let us know your faves in the comments!

Love It: Michelle Dockery’s Structured Teal Stunner. I won’t lie to you — it was a grim week for celebrity style. Most stars laid low (I’m assuming with their feet in a paraffin bath and a hydrating mask draped over their face) in preparation for the one-two punch that is the VMAs and Emmys on Sunday and Monday. Bless Michelle Dockery for bringing a little color and elegance to the red carpet in the shape of this perfectly inoffensive, perfectly well-accessorized blue strapless sheath. I’m counting on her to class up the Emmys red carpet in a similarly sophisticated way. –Alex Apatoff, Senior Style Editor

Love It: Sarah Hyland’s Bra-Baring Moment (Oh, and That Braid). I’m usually not a huge fan of the white-top-black-bra combo, but I think the Modern Family star is one of the few who did it right, in this Alice + Olivia romper. The white V-neck drapes nicely in the front and the way it exposes a hint of her black lace bra feels sexy (and not the word that rhymes with putty). I also love the shorts and ankle-strap heels, which give it a relaxed feels. Plus, her side fishtail complements the easy vibe of the whole outfit. — Brittany Talarico, Associate Style Editor

Leave It: Kim Kardashian: Dear Kim Kleavdashian, you are such a babe. Like, a total smokeshow. And maybe if I had curves for days (and weeks and months) like you do, I’d feel the need to put it all on display too. But girl, you are so much better than this! I’ll give you props for creativity. This U-neck, cut-out Yiquing Yin jumpsuit is certainly unique, but it seems a bit more apropos for a music video or … the bedroom, no? I’m guessing Kanye would appreciate it much more than I did.— Loni Venti, Style and Beauty Editor
