From Date Night to Brunch: Exactly What to Wear This Weekend
We map out your weekend wardrobe inspired by looks seen on Jamie Chung, Jordana Brewster and Louise Roe!
Rather spend your day at the beach instead of trying to track down the perfect outfit? Don’t stress because we’ve got you covered with three super chic looks that will get you through the weekend– from girls night out to the office – looking like a pro.
Saturday night: Printed skirt? Check. Statement necklace? Check. Pop of color? Check and check! We’re so impressed with Jamie Chung’s effortless ability to rock several summer trends at once that we had to try this look ourselves. What better way to hit the town than with this asymmetrical mini from Topshop (an almost perfect match to Chung’s Aztec printed skirt). Pair it with your favorite loose-fitting tee, this neon bag, and this blingy necklace (on sale this weekend!) and you’ll be sure to catch that guy’s eye.
Father’s Day Brunch: Your dad wants to see you smiling and presentable (sorry, no short skirts today, ladies), so why not go for a glowing color like Jordana Brewster did in this fun, orange frock. We found this Michael Stars number that is sure to make dad happy. Literally. (It’s called the Happy Stripe Highline maxi dress, too perfect!). Stick to simple gold accessories and if you don’t already have a pair, scoop up these embellished wedges from Aldo. They will barely stay in your closet this summer.
Monday morning: Have a case of the Monday morning blues? Liven up with a vibrant red dress like Louise Roe did so brilliantly in this Max Mara number. Bright red can be tricky at work, but the full skirt and high neck combo makes it totally wearable. Plus, Zara makes a similar style for only $89.90. This leopard print belt from Target (a budget-friendly $16.99) allows you to really cinch your waist, and to give the look a little edge, fold the strap over just as the Style Pop host did. Throw on your best pair of gold or nude heels and you’re work day is off to a good start.
