After hearing that many young victims of the recent natural disasters in the South planned to attend their high school proms in the clothes on their backs, came to the fashion rescue, generously opening its rental closet of more than 80 brands and 500 dresses to lend free prom and graduation dresses. “We want to make sure these girls are smiling as they are dancing at their prom and accepting their diploma,” says owners of the designer dress rental site, Sarah Jon Porreca and Jennifer Rosen, who will also be donating a percentage of every rental or purchase on their site between May 15 and June 16 to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. Girls affected by the storms who wish to participate in the disaster relief dress rental program can sign up online or call 800-403-9848 for more information, while the rest of us can lend our support by renting a Badgley Mischka or Nicole Miller frock for ourselves!
